Jolt!, by Phil Cooke, is the perfect book for person needing a swift kick-start on the road to change. It’s a book for everyone who wants to get a positive grip on change once and for all. The book offers 25 “jolts” that anyone can use to start a new path, overcome an obstacle, or readjust their thinking to change their life.
In the book, Phil Cooke talks about his own experience of “hitting a wall” and being forced into pursuing his big dream. Had sudden and abrupt change not entered the equation (in the form of losing his steady job), Phil never would have stepped out in faith and chased the bigger goal God had for him.
Jolt! is broken down into short, easy read to chapters; and at 205 pages is a quick book to read. However, I would recommend sitting down and reading one chapter at a time; taking detailed notes as to where you need to change in each area of you life.
