The Union Soldier monument, known locally as the Tennessee or Wilder monument, is an unusual, large Gothic Revival-style memorial in the Knoxville National Cemetery. This is the highest monument in the cemetery and was dedicated on October 15, 1896 to commemorate Union soldiers buried there.
